„Sei kein Depp …“: a cinema ad against litter

The idea

The basic idea and the graphics came from the Gemeindeverband Krems: anyone who throws litter out of their car gets told directly, „Sei kein Depp … wirf nix weg!“ (roughly: „Don’t be an idiot … don’t throw anything away!“).

Our part

From that we worked out a detailed concept with every scene. Then came the shoot, the edit, colour grading and sound design, all the way to the finished cinema version.

On set

We filmed in the Wachau, on the Danube and on country roads, with an actor, a car and the Gemeindeverband’s rubbish bins. The camera was a Sony α7S III in 4K, with an external monitor and our own sound.

Result

The finished commercial was delivered at the end of May 2026. The format works just as well for other municipal associations and topics.
